METU Staff Folk Dancing Society aims not only to contribute to the enforcement of national unity among the dancers by sharing feelings of friendship, collaboration and cooperation, but also to perpetuate folk culture in an environment where all members collaboratively take decisions and have fun, with no hierarchical or privileged conditions among the members. Because our folk dances are the most effective and attractive means of socialization and education among different types of art in various social activities in terms of development and richness of expression, PERHOT continues its activities with the aim of perpetuating and spreading our cultural values, and transferring them in the most accurate way to new generations.
